Diversity Day Discussions

Tomorrow, January 30, is Diversity Day here at HCC. To celebrate diversity, Greg McLamb is opening up his classroom to a discussion. Here is the schedule:

 

  • HIS 121-H01 – Western Civilization I: 9-9:50 (RM 318) “What role does diversity play in the growth of civilization.”
  • HIS 132-01 – American History II: 10-10:50 (RM 310) Reading of Horace Miner article, “Body Ritual Among the Nacirema”  Discussion.
  • HIS 230-01 – The Changing South: 11-11:50 (RM 351) Discussion “The role of diversity in the history of the American South 1865-present.”
  • POL 120-01 – American Government: 12-12:50 (RM 351)  Discussion:  “The role and effect of Diversity in the American political system.”
