It was a close race this year for the Grand Prize that accompanies the first correct answer–only 2 minutes separated 1st and 2nd place! After a review of the photo finish Meg Conner was the first to correctly identify Clyde’s book as Stephen King’s 11/22/63. Laura Simmons’ correct response came shortly after, earning her second place overall. Congratulations for such great guessing!
Our first prize student winner is Megan Cooper and Julie Cooper wins first prize from among our community patrons.
Other prize winners include student Wes Hill and Lead History Instructor Greg McLamb.
Congratulations to our winners and thanks again to everyone who helped make this Challenge so much fun. Special thanks to Jeff Carpenter and Justin Stocker from IT for their hard work in making sure our announcements went out on time. A huge thank you also to Virginia McKinley and Malaprop’s Bookstore & Cafe for our fabulous donation prize books!
We will post the explanations for Clyde’s clues after the break and are already plotting new ideas for next year’s challenge! Have a great holiday and hope you had as much fun as we did during the challenge. -Bill Kinyon, Heather Cyre, John Harrington
