It is generally more convenient to use one browser for your web needs but if you find yourself consistently having difficulty accessing multiple “heavy” (lots of graphics, streaming videos, sound files, etc) pages it can be advantageous to keep several different browsers open at once and use each according to its strengths. Keep Firefox open to view Moodle videos that crash in Internet Explorer. Is that page taking too long to load using Opera? Try Chrome. By experimenting with different browsers you can quickly identify which ones work best for your internet and download needs and increase your efficiency when working (and playing) at the keyboard. Whichever browser(s) you choose always make sure to keep them updated for maximum performance and security.
